  Food was good but the owner yells at his waitress/ wife in front of customers I thought it was kinda rude and I live right up the road from grumpys andvi heard its like that very often but the food was good and the views were amazing

  After a long, worthwhile wait (spent wandering along the pier with my son, looking at lobster boats, playful gulls, and the gorgeous, fog-covered harbor), we sat down to gigantic, fluffy blueberry pancakes, maple butter, hot, delicious coffee, and crisp bacon. The smell of the ocean mingled perfectly with our morning repast, and we left with full tummies and a distinct lack of, well, the grumpys! We'll be back!

  This place was wonderful! When they saw we had dogs they brought out a bowl & asked if they could give them some treats.
  
  The food was great & the staff was really nice. I recommend going out of your way for the french toast (called friendly toast here).
